Where Finance Meets Innovation
PayLoad is a fintech hackathon focused on building practical, innovative solutions for real-world financial problems. The event brings together developers, designers, and finance enthusiasts to collaborate, prototype, and present impactful fintech ideas using technologies like AI, blockchain, machine learning, and game development.
Eligibility
- Open to all B.Tech, BCA, MCA and BSc(CS) students interested in finance, technology, design, and innovation
- Beginner-friendly track available (Freshers Only)
- Inter-college teams: Allowed
- Inter-specialization teams: Allowed
Team Formation
Participants must form teams of 1ā4 members.
Solo participation is also allowed.
Competition Format
The competition will be conducted in two rounds:
Round 1: Pitch Deck Submission (Online)
Teams are required to submit a Pitch Deck (5ā7 slides) covering the following:
- Team & Track Selection and Challenges Addressed
- Proposed Solution - Overview of the solution and how it addresses the identified problem
- Innovation & Uniqueness
- Technology Stack & Architecture
- Demo & Implementation - GitHub repository link
Prototype / YouTube demo video link (if any) - Impact & Future Scope (Optional)
Round 2: Final Pitch & Demonstration (Offline)
Top 8 teams per problem statement will be shortlisted.
Shortlisted teams will present and demonstrate their projects before the judges.
Evaluation will focus on functionality and potential impact.

Participants must choose one problem statement:
- OnChain Rewards ā Blockchain
- Off-Road Semantic Scene Segmentation - Computer Vision
- Hostel Life Utility Manager ā UI/UX Beginner Track (Freshers Only)
- Financial Games & Finopoly ā Game Development
- Quantifying the Markets ā Machine Learning
- Open Innovation
Rules
- Teams must submit a pitch deck containing project repository link and supporting documentation (if any).
- PPT submission is mandatory.
- Only shortlisted teams will advance to the final round.
